IRS Extends Filing Deadline for Those Affected by Turbo Tax Problems

The IRS has extended the filing deadline for taxpayers who were prevented from filing electronically due to Intuit’s server problems on Tuesday. Taxpayers who were unable to file using “Turbo Tax,” “Lacerte,” “ProSeries,” and “Turbo Tax Freedom” (Intuit’s FreeFile product) now have until midnight April 19.
