How do I purchase online education including Level 1 Online, EA Journal Exams and NAEA webinars?

How do I find classes that I purchased prior to May 2016?
In order to access, you must be logged in to the NAEA website with your username and password. Once logged in, go to learning.naea.org to access all courses previously purchased courses.
 
How do I purchase a class now? 

NAEA recently launched a new online portal. Please log into naea.org. Classes can be purchased by clicking this link or by visiting https://interactive.naea.org/.

What is my username and password?
Typically your username is your NAEA ID and your password is your zip code. Forgot my password will remind you of your password. Non-members can create an account here. If you have problems logging into the site, please contact NAEA at 202.822.6232.
 
What classes do I need to take for NTPI Level 1?

To complete all of Level 1 you must complete all courses listed below either online or at a live program. Course descriptions and speaker biographies are available here.

What do I get when I purchase Level 1 Online?
Each course has a recorded lecture, a PowerPoint presentation, a course description, instructor biography, and downloadable/printable course materials.
 
How do I get the printed materials?
Printed materials are located within the Level 1 Online course. On the right of your screen you will see a tab entitled resources. Both the PowerPoint presentation and Word document can be printed. If you have trouble opening them, maybe you need to update Adobe Reader.
 
How long are Level 1 Online courses and can I see a course more than once?
Level 1 Online courses vary in length from 1-4 hours and can be viewed multiple times. These online self-study courses are designed to work within your own busy schedule. There are no special downloads required. It all works within your browser.
 
How long does it take to complete Level 1 Online?
Level 1 Online is designed to let you learn at your own pace. You can get through the classes within a week or you can take your time and complete them over a few months. Once you have purchased a course, you can access it for as long and as many times as you like so there’s no need to rush.
 
Why do I have to fully complete Level 1 Online before I can register for Level 2?
Level 1 is a prerequisite for Level 2 and the levels must be taken in order.  Level 2 is available in person only and continues to be an extremely popular program that often reaches capacity before the registration deadline. Therefore, Level 1 must be fully completed prior to registration.
 
Are there tests with Level 1 Online?
Each course has a test in order to complete it and earn your CEs. There are approximately 10 questions per CE hour. All questions must be answered to complete the test. A 75% is required for passing. After completing and passing a test, a Certificate of Completion will be available on the transcript page of your account. You may access you transcript page on naea.org at any time by visiting your Member Menu. To find it click Edit profile, select Continuing Education and then Transcripts & Certificates. 
 
What happens if I fail an exam?
If you do not pass on the first attempt, you will have the opportunity to immediately re-take the test. For Level 1 Online, you may also choose to watch or listen to the course again before you re-test. In addition, you might want to study the written materials. You do not have a purchase the course or exam again in order to re-take your test.
 
What if I need technical help?

Is the Level 1 Online information current and approved by the IRS?
Yes! Level 1 Online courses are always adapting to today’s changing world in order to keep you as up to date as possible. Each course is registered with the IRS and has an individual program number. IRS Program numbers are shown when you click on a course you would like to take. You may also find them in the course descriptions.
 
How much does a Level 1 Online course cost?
Each course’s cost differs depending on how many CEs can be earned. For members, the cost is $30 per CE hour or for non-members, $40 per CE Hour. For a limited time, a special package price is available for all Level 1 Online (24CE) with a savings of over $70. Check out the course descriptions for more information on individual courses.

How much do EA Journal Exams cost?
The majority of EA Journal Exams cost $35.00 for 2 CE ($45.00 for nonmembers).
Twice a year we have a bonus issue which costs $65.00 for 4 CE ($85.00 for nonmembers)
 
How much do Webinars cost?
All non-NTPI Webinars cost $26.00 per hour of CE ($36.00 per hour for nonmembers), but be on the lookout for special deals. For example you can purchase all of our Winter Webinar Series (12 hours of CE) for only $219; a savings of over $90.00 over the standard price!
