Scholarships

The National Association of Enrolled Agents Education Foundation (EF) award scholarships to both aspiring and current enrolled agents. The scholarship program is generously funded by Quickfinder, with additional support by Fast Forward Academy, Gleim Productions, Paychex and The Tax Book. NAEA members also show their support of their chosen profession and offer a helping hand to the next generation through generous donations to the Education Foundation.

The NAEA Education Foundation awards scholarships for the NAEA conferences and preparation programming for Special Enrollment Exam offered through NAEA and its state affiliates. NAEA offers a SEE Preparation Online program and a live SEE Boot Camp at the National Conference. Consideration will be given to applicants who have experience in taxation or accounting. To be considered for an NAEA SEE Prep Online or state affiliate SEE preparation scholarship, applications must be received three weeks prior to the seminar start. To be considered for the SEE Boot Camp at the NAEA National Conference you must submit by May 28, 2014. All scholarship requests for the SEE must be on the SEE Scholarship Application form.

About the NAEA Education Foundation

The NAEA Education Foundation (NAEA-EF), established in 1972, is dedicated to helping aspiring enrolled agents reach their goal by providing scholarships to prepare for the Special Enrollment Examination. Beyond that, we have a mission to assist enrolled agents and other Circular 230 licensed tax practitioners maintain their high quality professional standing. That is why our scholarship applications are peer reviewed and awarded to those who attend NAEA's premiere national continuing education (CE) program - the National Tax Practice Institute™ (NTPI™).

The NAEA-EF works collaboratively with NAEA in order to offer scholarships making it more convenient for independent practitioners to take the CE credits required by the IRS and maintain the license governed by Circular 230.
