NAEA has a membership category for every professional involved in taxation. Click on the membership type below to download a printable application. Categories include:
Regular Membership – enrolled agents (EAs)
Associate - non enrolled agents who are engaged in some aspect of tax
SEE Passer- must have passed the SEE within the past 12 months and provide documentation- either confirmation that the applicant has passed every part of the SEE or the EA license
Academic Associate - students or instructors in an accredited college or professional school in a tax, accounting or finance program
Emeritus - Enrolled agents who are on inactive/retired status with IRS and have been members of NAEA for the preceding five years (contact NAEA's Membership Department directly)
Or, join online by following these steps:
CREATE A PROFILE ON OUR WEBSITE. This process will create a record for you in our system and allow you to edit your profile or register for an education event (at non-member pricing until you complete the next step). Your login and password information will be sent to the email address you provide.
JOIN ONLINE. Click on the Join Online link and log into our website. Select National Dues, then your membership category and state affiliate, and submit payment for your first year's dues. You'll receive an email confirmation of your payment, then a separate welcome email.
