Overview

As the voice of the enrolled agent profession, NAEA regularly submits formal comment letters to federal agencies and policymakers. These letters provide feedback on proposed regulations, guidance, and legislation that affect tax practice, taxpayers, and the work of enrolled agents and tax professionals.

While any individual may submit a comment, NAEA’s collective input on behalf of thousands of members and enrolled agents amplifies the concerns and recommendations of the enrolled agent community.

On this page, you’ll find a collection of NAEA’s comment letters, which demonstrate our commitment to advocacy, professionalism, and protecting taxpayer rights.
