May 5-6, 2026 | Washington, DC
Two days and a powerful mission. Show up for the profession, where tax policy gets written.
NAEA’s Capitol Hill Fly-In is the association’s premier member-only advocacy event, bringing Enrolled Agents to Washington, DC to meet directly with lawmakers, elevate the issues impacting taxpayers and tax professionals, and strengthen the EA voice in federal policy discussions.
This is not a traditional conference. It’s a mission-driven experience designed to prepare you for meaningful conversations on Capitol Hill. Through focused briefings, issue training, and organized Hill meetings, you’ll gain the tools to communicate enrolled agent priorities and help shape the future of tax administration.
The Fly-In is your opportunity to step beyond your daily client work and make an impact at the national level. You’ll join fellow Enrolled Agents from across the country to learn what’s happening in Washington, align on key legislative priorities, and deliver a consistent message to congressional offices.
Every year, the Fly-In connects engaged members with the policymakers who influence how taxes are administered, how the IRS serves taxpayers, and how the profession is recognized and supported. This is your chance to be part of the conversation.
The agenda and issue priorities are being finalized. Expect a balanced mix of policy briefings, advocacy preparation, and scheduled Hill meetings.
If you care about how tax policy affects taxpayers, the IRS, and the EA profession, this event is built for you. Whether you’re new to advocacy or already active at any level, the Capitol Hill Fly-In gives you a structured, supportive way to show up and contribute meaningfully.
This event is especially valuable for:
This is a member-exclusive event, and it’s one of the most valued experiences of the year. Members leave with insight and access they wouldn’t get otherwise. Interested in attending events like this? Join NAEA today!
Start with context. You’ll receive timely updates on the issues NAEA is advancing—along with clear guidance on how to communicate those priorities effectively to congressional offices.
NAEA coordinates meetings with lawmakers and staff so you can focus on delivering the message. You’ll participate in organized advocacy visits and share practitioner insight that helps offices understand how legislation and IRS operations affect taxpayers in real life.
When Enrolled Agents speak together, the message carries further. You’ll be part of a unified national effort to strengthen tax administration, support taxpayers, and elevate the role of EAs as federally licensed tax professionals.
